Razzak restricts Rajshahi→ Sports Reporter

National spinner Abdur Razzak took four for Khulna as they took a 89-run lead against Rajshahi at the end of day two in the final match of the 13th National Cricket League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Top order batsman Junaid Siddique and Farhad Hossain resumed the second day for Rajshahi with 135 runs on the board in reply to Khulna’s 212 runs in the first innings.
However, Rajshahi batsmen failed to carry the momentum and were bowled out for 258.
Junaid who was unbeaten with 71 on day one, could add another 24 to his tally before getting bowled out by Khulna skipper Tushar Imran. The other unbeaten batsman from day one, Farhad, walked back to the pavilion scoring 77 runs.
Abdur Razzak led the Khulna bowling attack picking up four wickets in 32 overs conceding just 59 runs. Dollar Mahmud, Alamin Hossain and Tushar Imran shared two wickets each.
In the second innings, Khulna were rocked by bowler Farhad Hossain as he took the wicket of opener Soumya Sarkar with the first ball of the innings.
However, the other opening batsman, Ziaur Rahman and Imrul Kayes mended the early damage building a 72-run partnership.
Left arm spinner, Saqlain Sajib got the break through for Rajshahi sending Khulna opener Ziaur (21 runs) back to the dressing room.

Later, Imrul kayes departed after scoring 47 runs, missing his third half-century of the league.
Anamul Haque Bijoy and wicketkeeper batsman Mohammed Mithun held on to the crease until the end of days play. Bijoy remained unbeaten with 36 runs while Mithun scored 10. Khulna were 135 runs for five and maintained a 89-run lead at the end of second day’s play against the defending champions.
The two left arm bowlers, Saqlain and Sanjamul Islam shared two wickets while Forhad Hossain bagged one for Rajshahi.

DHAKA: BNP led 18-party alliance will call countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal for Sunday and Monday.

Shairul Kabir Khan, media wing official of the BNP chairperson, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will announce the fresh hartal programmes at a press conference of the alliance to be held on Saturday afternoon in the city, he added.

Moreover, main opposition BNP‘s four-day ultimatum to the government to find its missing leader Elias Ali ends on Saturday evening.

On Tuesday last, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia gave the ultimatum to the government saying they would stage tougher and nonstop movement programmes if Elias Ali and his driver are not found by April 28.

BNP leaders are likely to call hartal for Sunday and Monday according to their 18-party meeting held on Wednesday.

Earlier on April 17, BNP Organizing Secretary of Sylhet Division and former MP M Elias Ali went missing along with his driver.

Later, police recovered Elias’s abandoned private car and the mobile phone of his driver in front of Mohakhali South Point School and College.

Suspected opposition activists on Saturday torched a bus and a microbus on the eve of a two-day hartal called by the BNP-led 18-party alliance protesting disappearance of BNP leader M Ilias Ali.

Unidentified criminals exploded three crude bombs on the road divider near on the west side of Sonargaon Hotel around 9:00pm, police said.

Shah Alam, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station, told The Daily Star that no-one was injured in the blasts.

Police said a group of four to five youths set fire to a bus after pouring petrol on it at New Market intersection around 4:00pm.

AKM Azizul Haque, officer-in-charge of Lalbagh Police Station, told The Daily Star, the passengers rushed out of the bus of Gazipur-Azimpur route but no injuries were reported.

The microbus was set ablaze by unknown miscreants in Fakirapool area at about 7:00pm, said Kazi Abdullah Al Mahmood, an assistant sub-inspector of Paltan Police Station.

BNP and its allies Saturday afternoon called hartal for Sunday and Monday after the government failed to produce its missing leader M Ilias Ali before the nation.

M Ilias Ali, a former lawmaker and now Sylhet Division organising secretary of the party, and his driver went missing around midnight of April 17.

On April 18, police found Ilias's private car abandoned near his Banani residence in the capital and that day BNP called a dawn-to-dusk hartal for April 22. Later, the party also extended the hartal to April 23 and 24.

Various kinds of delicious foods are prepared form rice.

Importance of foods .

We need food. We must eat to live. Food helps us growing. Food gives us energy. We eat different kinds of food at different times. In the morning we have breakfast. We usually eat bread, puffed rice, eggs and drink tea or milk for breakfast. At noon we have lunch. 

For lunch we usually have rice, vegetable rice, vegetable, chicken, beef or fish curry and lentil. In the afternoon, we usually have tea and biscuits or some or some snacks.

At night we have our dinner. For dinner, we usually have rice, curry, vegetable and lentil. Sometimes we eat sweets after dinner. English people call it dessert.
